Gil Ramirez is a second-generation builder and developer with a degree in construction management. He grew up on jobsites and spent his career on the side of contracting where the money is actually made or lost: the systems behind the work.
In the family production home-building business he helped scale operations past 100 homes a year, and built the database and systems that made that volume possible: cost accounting, job tracking, purchasing, estimating, customer service, scheduling, and field integration. From there he moved into commercial construction, taking on public-sector work as a JOC contractor and steel erection as a subcontractor.

He started Simple Contractor Systems on a simple idea. Contractors do not need another app. They need someone who has actually run the operation to look at how the work really flows and build the systems that fit it.
