Proof, in the owner's words and the owner's numbers.
Every engagement starts with an audit. No two builds look the same, because no two operations are. Client names are withheld and figures are shown as ranges on their request.
Financial clarity
A losing January. Seven months later, six figures to the bottom line.
Fiber and utility cabling contractor · Gulf Coast · Jan to Jul 2026
This contractor was growing and still could not say whether a month made money until long after it closed. January closed at a 21 percent loss. We put the operation on a weekly financial cycle: one dashboard every Monday showing revenue, direct cost, operating expense, net margin, cash in the bank, and every open invoice by age, with the collection calls named for the week.
Job cost was 72 percent of revenue and nobody knew it until the books closed. Receivables sat at more than a full month of revenue, with a meaningful share already past due. One customer carried 28 percent of the balance. Cash had bottomed out and it read like a losing business rather than a timing problem.
Direct cost down to 56.7 percent of revenue and operating expense to 35.1, both falling as a share while the business grew 37 percent. Receivables 95.5 percent current. Past due down about 60 percent across the whole book. Cash recovered into the six figures off the floor. The owner now sees the month while there is still time to change it.
Figures on an accrual basis, from the client's own books. Client name withheld. Read the full story →
Dispatch
From a group chat to a real operation
Cabling contractor · Texas
Everything ran through text messages. Dispatch, damage tracking, job follow-up. Information disappeared into group threads. Billing waited because nobody could find the completed job documentation. What should have taken minutes took ten times longer, and the errors were absorbed as a cost of doing business.
One flow connecting dispatch, field operations, and billing. A live board with real-time status on every job. Fewer errors, faster collections, and decisions made on data instead of the last text somebody remembered to send.
What owners say after going live
"Completed jobs sat in text threads and invoices went out weeks late. Now the invoice triggers the moment a tech closes the job. That alone covered what we paid for the build."
Operations Manager · Cabling contractor
"We ran dispatch on spreadsheets and group texts and jobs fell through constantly. Gil rebuilt the whole system. The structure is already changing how we operate."
