FAQ
Straight answers before you book.
No jargon and no pitch. If your question is not here, the fit call will cover it.
I run a telecom or fiber operation. Am I in the right place?
Yes, and you also have a dedicated house. Telecom and ISP work runs under Telecom Contractor Solutions, our telecom practice, with the same audit-first process and the same fit call. Book on either site and you land with the same team.
Do you sell software?
No. We do not sell or resell any platform. We look at how your operation runs, find where the money is leaking, and build the systems that close the gap. Sometimes the right answer is off-the-shelf software, and if it is, we will tell you.
Is the fit call really free?
Yes. The fit call is 30 minutes at no cost. You tell us what is hurting, and we tell you whether the Operations Audit fits your operation or whether you would be better off buying software and skipping consulting.
What is the Operations Audit?
A two-week engagement with fixed scope. We interview ownership and the people doing the work, map your process, plot every finding on an impact-versus-effort matrix, and hand you a prioritized roadmap with ROI math. You keep the deliverable whether you build with us or not.
Why isn't the audit free?
A proper audit takes sit-down time with ownership and with the crews. Two weeks of real effort, not a 30-minute demo. Consultants who give it away are cutting corners on discovery or not looking at your specific operation. It pays for itself on the first quick win, if you choose to build it.
What trades do you work with?
Service-based contractors that send people and equipment to a site. We came out of utility and telecom, and we work across electrical, HVAC and plumbing, and general construction. If you run crews and paperwork, the fit call will tell us in 30 minutes.
How long does a build take?
It depends on what the audit prescribes. Quick wins land in 30 to 90 days, bigger builds run months four to eight, and transformational projects nine to eighteen. Nothing is committed until you have seen the roadmap and the math.
What happens after the build?
We stay in it for 90 days after go-live. Building the system is the easy part. Getting a crew that ran on paper to actually use something new is the work, and that is when it happens.
Do I buy the system or subscribe to it?
Both options exist. You can buy the build outright and own it with no monthly, or subscribe to a managed system with no big upfront where we maintain and keep improving it. Either way your data and your operation are always yours and always portable. We scope which fits on the fit call.
Do you lend money or get me the loan?
No. We are an operations firm, not a lender or a loan broker. We make your operation fundable by fixing the financials a lender underwrites, we help you package and present the loan, and we introduce you to lenders who fund this trade. The lender decides. We do not guarantee approval, a rate, or an amount.
Do you charge a fee based on the loan?
No. We charge a flat fee for the packaging and advisory work, quoted up front, whether or not the loan closes. On SBA loans, any fee we are paid is disclosed on the standard SBA fee-disclosure form. We think getting paid to make you fundable, not on whether a bank says yes, is the honest way to do it.
Why does the operations work matter for getting funded?
Because a lender underwrites your numbers, and your numbers come from your operation. Clean job costing, a margin trend going the right way, and current receivables are what make a file bankable. That is the same work our Operations Audit and build already do. One Gulf Coast operation we rebuilt reached 8.2 percent net margin and 95.5 percent of receivables current, which are exactly the lines a lender wants to see.
I already have a bank. Can you still help?
Yes. Even with a lender relationship, walking in with a clean, well-presented file usually means a faster yes and better terms. We get your numbers and your package to that standard.
